It’s okay to lose a tooth, but

not your smile.

A problem like a missing tooth can affect your self-esteem, but can be resolved in a few different ways, depending on individual need.

At Smile Dental, we are committed to giving you the confidence to smile. For example, we offer tooth implants, just one of the many ways to keep you smiling.

What is a Tooth Implant?

Implant

A tooth implant is basically a dental procedure where implants are used to anchor prosthetic teeth into the jawbone.

The prosthetic teeth are designed to look as natural as possible, and replicate the structure of the teeth they were meant to replace. That way, the implants are able to mimic closely the functions of real teeth.

Dental Insertion

  • Surgical insertion of the metal implants.
  • Insertion of the abutment (the piece which holds the prosthesis to the implant). Usually takes place 3 to 6 months after initial surgery.
  • Customising a prosthetic tooth and fitting it to the abutment.

Wisdom Tooth

Apart from implant surgery, we also provide a host of oral surgery procedures such as wisdom tooth removal. The infection of wisdom teeth and other non- salvageable teeth can be painful and debilitating.

Fortunately, the likes of badly- decayed teeth, retained roots, abscesses, and other such infections can easily be treated in our clinics.

Oral Surgeries

We work in partnership with visiting specialist oral surgeons for more complicated surgical cases, and can also work with visiting specialist anaesthetists should you prefer to have your treatment under sedation.

At our clinics, the latest digital x-ray scanners are used to accurately diagnose the problem before a suitable treatment is recommended. Do pay us a visit if you’re having any problems with your teeth.
