Dr Lim competed his degree studies in NUS in 2008, during which he received numerous awards and bursaries including Drs Tay & Partners Dental Surgeons Medal, Dr Lau Hieng Kiong Medal, Dental Society Merit Awards, and many more.

Dr Lim also served as Overal Dental OIC of IWF Dental Officers in his final posting at the SAF Dental Service whilst being a member of the SDA Continuing Dental Education and Oral Health Awareness Committee.

Dr Lim believes that the ultimate result of dentistry is that patients receive a set of white, clean, evenly matched, vital teeth and that it is best delivered in a gentle loving manner. To this end, Dr Lim endeavours to learn throughout his professional life.

Dr Lim is happily married and blessed with a family that brings him joy. Outisde work and family life, he enjoys serving in his church, a good read and playing intellectually stimulating games.
